With just one day to go, we are in the homestretch of our 12 Days of Christmas (Shopping) gift guide. While we've been pinpointing and spotlighting local stores we at Picky Bitchez love, we figured we'd shed some light on one of our favourite eateries in town.

The Coup has made a name for itself as an outstanding organic vegetarian restaurant. And it's only gotten better since its renovations this past spring. With a number of vegan and gluten-free options on the menu, we think The Coup is the kind of place you need to go at least once in your lives (though going more often than that is certainly advisable).

But one of the coolest things about The Coup is that the next time you sit down to a nice meal there, you can also get some of your Christmas shopping done! Here are some quick gift ideas that you can score the next time you pop in for a bite:

We all know at least one couple who desperately needs a night out on the town. Maybe it's because they have a toddler at home that constantly needs supervision, or maybe it's because they're both up-and-coming pop stars with extremely full schedules. No matter what the reasons, they deserve a night off where they can simply enjoy each other's company. If you know someone who is obsessed with both cooking and The Coup, Meet The Coup Cooks might just be the perfect present for them. Between its covers, you'll find recipes for many of The Coup's famous dishes, including the mouthwatering entrees we can't get enough of: the Komodo salad and the satay bowl. This might also be a great gift idea for a Coup fan who will be relocating to another city sometime soon. It'd make for the tastiest going away/Christmas present we've ever heard of!
